Ordained by the National Association of Free Will Baptists, Mike has been involved in church ministry his entire adult life, previously serving churches in West Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas.

He married his sweet bride, Dorinda, in 1994 and together they have one awesome daughter, Hannah, a university student majoring in intercultural studies and psychology.

Mike's professional background includes executive leadership in print media, advertising, technology and healthcare. In his spare time, he is a prolific reader and writer, and is a published science fiction/fantasy author. He is also a podcast host on the Trek FM network.

​Mike most enjoys family time, is a self-professed "coffee snob," a PEZ collector, and all-around Star Trek geek. His favorite verse from the Bible is 1 Corinthians 15:58.
