Visiting a church for the first time can be... honestly, a little awkward. Right?
We get it.
But hey, once you get past the initial awkwardness of that first step it can be very rewarding. We promise to do everything possible to make you feel at home. So, here's your personal invitation to come visit us in person this Sunday.

Here's what we want our first time guests to know...
Come as you are. Seriously. We really mean it. No need to get dressed up. We like to keep it a little casual. We accept everyone. After all, Jesus did. So, if your life is a little messy (or a lot messy), and you're afraid to bring your mess to church... relax. It's OK. Life is hard, but Jesus is good and His cross is the great leveler of people.
We're Contemporary. That's not to say we wont sing a hymn once in a while, but we like to sing new songs, too. We're not here to put on a show, so jump in, clap your hands, and sing along with us. During our worship service, you'll hear a message from the Bible that is as current and relevant now as it was when it was first written.
Visit the Guest Services Desk in the Lobby when you arrive. You'll be SO GLAD YOU DID! Located in the lobby when you walk in the main doors, it's hard to miss. You'll be warmly welcomed with a smile, offered a cup of tea or coffee, and presented with a gift, just for being a first time guest.
We love children. We really do. They're a blessing from the Lord. We offer a fully staffed nursery on Sunday morning for children 3 and under. For your peace of mind, all of our children's ministry staff and volunteers are background checked and trained. At this time, we're not offering separate children's ministries for children 4 and over, but we do set time aside for them in our services. If they do get a little noisy, or disruptive - we seriously don't mind. In fact, we get joy from the sights and sounds that come from children.
Meet our Pastor. Hang around and say hello after service. He loves meeting first time guests, but mention coffee or Star Trek at your own peril. OK, seriously though, he is just a regular guy who loves people. Pastor Mike periodically hosts "Pizza with the Pastor" a Sunday afternoon event for anyone new to Collin Creek Church. So, if you're considering sticking around for a while (and we hope you will), be sure to keep an ear out for one of these events.
